Joe Dudley Jr. is the President of Dudley Direct, LLC, a small business coaching and consulting firm. In addition, he is an author, speaker, and a 2nd generation entrepreneur.
With Dudley Direct, Joe guides new and established business owners to improve their marketing strategies, gain greater access to capital, and accelerate their business success.
Each week, Joe hosts online the Dudley Eagles Mastermind Group meeting that helps current and potential entrepreneurs go from breakeven to breakthrough and inspire them to build the business of their dreams. Each meeting features an engaging guest speaker who share his or hers entrepreneurial journey to inform and challenge the audience.
Members of the Dudley Eagles Mastermind Group receive a personalized Entrepreneurial CheckUp Assessment Report that identifies their entrepreneurial personality, or E-Style, and their business strengths and weaknesses. Moreover, they receive one-on-one coaching from Joe and his coaching team on developing the next steps to build and grow their business.
Additional benefits include expanding their business network with like-minded black business owners and professionals who can become accountability partners to help the members achieve their SMART Goals for 2023.

For VIP clients, Joe helps business owners finance their million dollar projects by developing feasibility studies and presenting them to financial institutions and private investors.
Currently, Joe is working with the non-profit Women's Foundation of North Carolina to help develop several of their new initiatives including preparing and serving after school meals and workforce development for Guilford County School students.
These initiatives will feed hungry kids and teach them about nutrition, healthy living through energetic movement, STEM career skills and entrepreneurship.
For 30 years, Joe worked in his family business, Dudley Products, Inc., one of the nation’s leading manufacturers and distributors of ethnic hair care and personal care products. He worked in numerous positions in the company including VP of Marketing and VP of Finance.
At age 7, Joe began his entrepreneurial journey by helping his parents make hair care products in the family’s kitchen. As an adult, Joe was instrumental in growing the company from $5 million to $35 million, and from 150 employees to over 600 employees worldwide.
Joe received his BA in Economics from Northwestern University. While an undergrad at NU, he was accepted into the graduate school of business and received his MBA from NU’s Kellogg Graduate School of Management, completing three majors in marketing, finance, and strategic planning.
Joe is the author of What’s My E-Style?, which challenges entrepreneurs to discover their entrepreneurial personality for outstanding business success. In this book, Joe makes it simple for entrepreneurs to define their business style and achieve success.
He also is a certified Myers-Briggs Type Indicator instructor and is certified to administrate Predictive Index, a workplace assessment tool.
