The Penn State Nittany Lions Football team introduced new defensive coordinator Jim Knowles to the media on Tuesday, and we're discussing his comments from the 30-minute press conference on today's show. Before we dive into Knowles's press conference, we'll quickly recap the news and notes from the last few days in Penn State football. Analyst Robb Smith took a job elsewhere earlier this week. Reporter Greg Pickel will recap where he's moving on and what it means for the program on the administrative and coaching side. We'll also discuss how Knowles and his arrival could change the coaching staff. 

Between The Lines

Next, we'll get to the main portion of today's show. We're replaying the most important quotes from Tuesday's press conference and explaining what they mean for the Penn State defense moving forward. We'll give you insight into how Knowles and Franklin plan to integrate the new coach into the program and what compromises there might be from what he did elsewhere to what he will do at Penn State.
