By All Means Necessary

Chapman kept flipping through the book’s pages after shooting John Lennon. John Hinkley had the book on his coffee table when police entered his home after his assassination attempt on Reagan. Bardo was carrying a copy when he murdered Rebecca Schaeffer. Lee Harvey Oswald also had a copy on his bookshelf when he shot Kennedy. Catcher in the rye - did it inspire people to kill and why?

CORRECTION CORNER: I kinda got lost and made it sound like Reagan died during the assassination attempt, he did not! He died of Alzheimers ages after and is probably turning in his grave cuz of this.
