Palana Belken, policy advocate and former trans justice organizer at the ACLU of New Hampshire, is the author of our new report titled The Case for Lived Equality in the Classroom. In this episode, she takes a deep dive into what it's like to be a transgender high schooler in New Hampshire, and how individual school boards can adopt policies that protect transgender students from discrimination and that create an inclusive environment for all.
We deeply thank every guest on this episode for sharing their story.
