On the morning of Saturday November 12, 1988, 36-year-old Byron Carr was found dead by his family in the bedroom of his home at 24 Lapthorne Ave in Charlottetown, PEI. Byron's family had gone looking for him as they were worried when he didn't show up for a family function. They had decided to first pop by his house and when they arrived, they found him strangled and stabbed to death laying on his bedroom floor. Upon further investigation the police also found the words "I will kill again" written on the wall in pen and his wallet had been stolen. Byron's murder is PEI's only unsolved murder to date.
