- S13 Ep254: Byte~ Beauty & The Beast of Awakening! (Other Realities & Their Honesty!)Amara Palmer is here everyone, and she has a story to tell! It's about Beauty, it's about Bravery, it's about being confronted by something you have no plan for, and what you do with all that afterwards. It's about being human and trying to integrate, and trying to understand something so huge it defies description! It's about so much, but you'll just have to listen, dear ones, to kind of "get" what I'm saying!
Whew!
It's not often I have a guest come on who tries to define the sublime, the ephemeral, that for which words have absolutely no meaning...I mean, we try, we try so very hard to describe these things, but we always, always fail!
You know who doesn't fail? Amara! Because she is the ultimate badass, who is, everyday, going into the trenches to help us understand ourselves, the world and those mysterious glimpses some of us have had, behind the mystery that is this Universe. To check out more of what this incredible human is up to, click here!
and as always, here is me, in lower case letters, asking for ratings and reviews...each one helps so much, you have no idea. Or, as Oliver Twist says, with his little bowl and his hands out, "I'd like another rating please." ;-)
And speaking of Beauty, your bit of beauty is this: this little tease about a future guest and who she's related to... this magical bit of what humans can create! check it out!11 min - S13 Ep253: Interview: Ronika Merl ~ The Magic of Guardian Angels! (Homeless & Surviving The Streets As A Kid!)
Ronika Merl is a powerhouse, everyone, and not only because she is doing ground breaking work in Ireland, changing people's lives, but also because she never quits!
We met through another podcaster and the first time we hung out over Zoom she was in her car...and I come to find out that she, like me, at the time, was house-less and on the road, going from one place to another. Well, needless to say, that did a whole lot to cement our bond, and helped me to understand her resilience. (but more on resilience and Ronika's thoughts on that trait in the episode!) But the more we hung out, the more we got to know one another, I began to understand just what a GEM she is, how driven she is, and how committed she is to making all of her dreams come true! And her miracle? Let's just say it happened when she most needed it...and thank goodness for that!
To read more about Ronika and her coolness, here's her website!

NEVER FORGET THERE ARE SO MANY MORE EXCELLENT HUMANS THAN ROTTEN APPLES! (this is your PSA for the day!) Chin up, buttercup!
Here is your bit of beauty...this short video quickly trying to show how gorgeous Ireland is, but really, do a deeper dive and check it out on your own. The stories and myths are legendary, and so are the people!

13 min - S13 Ep252: Interview: Rev. Jaime Nieves ~ The Magical Cat Posse!! (Animals & Their Psychic Vibes!)There is no byte-sized episode this week because I really feel like all of you must listen to this one in it's entirety. xoxo
The work that Reverend Jaime is doing is so needed and so essential right now, because it not only speaks to those animals and insects that she advocates for, it also can apply to the land that we walk upon. With the government attempting to sell our public lands to the highest bidder, it is about time that we begin to look around and realize that everything around us has spirit, is sacred, and needs us to advocate for it's existence! And that is what my friend Rev. Jaime is doing through her work as the "Creature Preacher" with her voice, with her books, with her words...she is urging us all to do better, but ALSO, to SEE that all life, that everything around us, deserves respect, honor and a listening ear. Because that life is endlessly trying to engage with us, to enter into conversation with us, and brings us along, as partners, to this magical and mysterious dance that is unfolding around us!

Lots of love to all of you out there...and I'm already celebrating the healing you are going to achieve! xoxo31 min - S13 Ep251: Interview: Rudy Hunter ~ Inside a Prison, the Unexpected Discovery!Rudy Hunter is the coolest guest I've had on in a long time! Not only did he used to be a professional magician, but he also has had an interesting (and somewhat unexpected) journey to where he is today, working on helping both humans, and animals HEAL!
Before you can say "Abracadabra" Rudy had me laughing, playing along, and in general, having the time of my life. There is no doubt in my mind that Rudy is enchanted...and sprinkling a bit of his glorious healing fairy dust on all the rest of us! (if we are lucky enough to encounter him, and I do encourage you, reach out to him, you won't be sorry!) He's yet another human who is a serious gift to the world, so thank goodness he's here!

And of course, remember that magic abounds and that hope is everywhere, sometimes just around the corner!
Please do rate and review...it helps so much, and seriously makes my day!

This time I am introducing you to Peter Gunn, who tells a magical miracle story from his childhood. To say that it changed everything would be the understatement of the century...but there we are! But in the here and now, Peter is doing some seriously groovy work re-imagining the epics (think Beowulf, The Iliad, The Odyssey et al) into poems that put forth female protagonists and female change-makers. It's all so delightful, I could NOT wait to talk to him!
To read more about Peter and his endless well of creativity, visit his website here!
