Byte Sized Blessings | Paranormal Stories, Divine Encounters & Magical Happenings!

Please do note that this episode comes with a TRIGGER WARNING for discussions of childhood sexual abuse.

It is with pleasure that I introduce everyone to my guest this week, Karl Beckstrand! Karl is a wonderfully complex human (like all of us) and we had a great discussion around ancestral stories, the stories we tell ourselves, and how stories shape this world. But it was his miracle story this week that got me ~ how, after a life shaped by his addiction to sex, Karl suddenly found the healing and the answers that he was looking for! (and guess what everyone...it was in the place that he least expected it!)

And I think that a lot of things are like this in this life-that we are eternally looking for answers...or any sort of help around the issues that we are muddling through, and sometimes, those answers are in places that we are not ready to go to yet! But always, they are always there, waiting for us! To check out Karl's groovy work and his books, click here.

I am ever SO GRATEFUL to all of you who listen to this podcast, and support me with sweet reviews and glorious texts telling me how much you love the pod! You'll never know how much those words mean to me.

Your bit of beauty this week comes from an astonishing video shot off of Australia! (I admit it, I am a little late to the party as this happened 9 months ago!) A whale was giving birth and sharks were gathering...suddenly, from EVERYWHERE, dolphins appeared, and helped defend the calf and mother from the sharks! It is truly a jaw-dropping sight to see! Watch it here!

Folks, meet Mike Oppenheim who brings FOUR, yes, you heard that right, FOUR miracle stories this week! From a miraculous healing to listening to that inner voice we all have, (which ultimately saved his life!) Mike is a storyteller extraordinaire! I was delighted to hear all of his stories, each of which is so different, but really? Each one convinced me that this human being is so deeply connected to that magical energy that gives life to this reality! I hope you enjoy our conversation as much as I did! To access Mike's Substack click here!  And to listen to Mike's podcast "Coffin Talk," click here!

I hope you all have taken the time to check out my YouTube channel...if not, click here to see my guests in real life! You'll get a greater idea of the podcast, of yours truly, as well as my guests' shining faces!

This podcast is a labor of love for me...how else to explain the hours I spend getting guests, setting schedules, editing and producing the podcast? I hope you love it enough to give me a rating or write a little review! And remember, to SUBSCRIBE!

Your bit of beauty this week? This gorgeous video of the Perseid Meteor Shower which happened this past August 11-12th...you can hear the shouts of delight and amazement from the videographers, and I think they just add to what is pretty obvious-that our world, and our sky, are outlandishly and beautifully majestic!

Amilynne is a remarkable human being who has survived more than most (one example alone is her Stage 4 cancer that she overcame!) and who is thriving helping others navigate life and spirituality! She is a powerful speaker, as well as a divine being here on Earth demonstrating to all of the rest of us the way to live life with grace! She is also quadriplegic, but guess what? That doesn't slow her down, not one whit! For one example of her amazingness please watch her TEDtalk "Reclaiming Command With Quadriplegia" here. We had a seriously groovy conversation and I for one am grateful that I get to share my time here on this planet with her! To check out her website click here!

Thanks to all those who listen to this podcast...please remember to share the heck out of it with others, as well as to subscribe to this little pod of mine!

Ratings and reviews are the bees knees, you all, so please consider doing one, or, if you're feeling especially generous, both!

Please check out my YouTube channel...where you can check out my guests in real life! Waa hoo...they actually do exist you all!!

Your bit of beauty this week is this sweet video, from Dodo Kids! Cuddly little Turbo, a dog born without his front legs, is struggling to get around in the world. And then? An angel stepped in to give little Turbo just what he needed! If you're not misty eyed by the end of this video...you might be an alien!

see you all next week for the very next episode of the pod!

Yee haw everyone! I am SO EXCITED to introduce you to one of the MOST STELLAR human beings I know! A high school art teacher (and if that isn't enough to convince you he's amazing), Chris Hodge walks through the world with heaps of faith, heaps of belief of the beauty in the world, AND, heaps of belief in all of us! (thank goodness, we need more of that!) He's funny, irreverant and charming, and best of all, decided that talking to me was worth his time! Please do take the time to check out his work on his website here and his Insta here! AND PLEASE DO CHECK OUT THE EASTER EGG AT THE END OF THE INTERVIEW EPISODE, LOTS MORE FUN STUFF THERE! (for those of you who listen to the Byte's each week!)

I am so grateful that Chris is in the world and creating such gorgeousness with all that he does!

Please do consider writing a review or leaving a rating wherever you listen! It helps others find this little podcast of mine! As well, consider checking out the YouTube channel! You can find it here, and see my glorious guests IRL!

As far as your bit of beauty this week- here is a link to the Cardinal on Chris' Instagram page! There you will not only see just how incredibly talented Chris is, but also so MANY MORE BEAUTIFUL THINGS!  I am a big fan of those bringing their visions out into the world (it's so brave don't you think?) and those who believe in this little "blue dot" floating in the cosmos...

See you next week for another episode of the pod everyone! xoxo

Hello babes!
Thanks to everyone who is listening to this podcast-and checking out the YouTube! (it makes all the hard work that much easier for me!! Lots of LOVE to you all who are checking this pod out...and still listening!

My guest this week, Leslie Draffin, had a life most of us only dream of! A news anchor with a sweet salary, on the TV every day...success, accolades, all the juicy things that we imagine would make our lives better?!!! Well, one day Leslie took a good look around and realized just how MESSY her life really was! Then...drum roll please... her PIVOT!!! And you know how I am always saying that YES, it is terrifying to have faith and jump off that cliff to new opportunity, or a new dream, but Leslie did it! (and in the process found her life's calling but I'll let her share that part of the story!) She is so vulnerable and so open in this episode, I could only sit back in awe and appreciate how raw she is...and how that storytelling and sharing she is doing is helping SO MANY!

Her miracle is one that many of us can relate to-what happened after two of her precious dogs passed away! (hint: it's magical and miraculous and fabulous all rolled up into one!) To check out her podcast "The Light Within" click here, and her website, here.

DON'T FORGET TO RATE AND REVIEW MY LOVES!! oh, and share!! Share the heck out of this pod of mine! Thank you very much! xoxo

Your bit of beauty? This FRIGGIN' GORGEOUS VIDEO of how one of my fav insects actually sees we humans! It blew my mind...check out this lush TIKTOK of how insanely magical bees are....once again!  (I mean honestly, if BEES ALONE aren't enough to convince you that GOD/GODDESS/CREATOR/SPIRIT isn't real, I don't know what is...
