Recently, officials in Washington State confirmed the first-ever sightings of the Asian Giant Hornet, or 'Murder Hornet,' in North America. The species is a deadly predator in it's native Japan and other parts of Asia.
We talked with Paul Castrovillo, the Entomologist for the Idaho State Department of Agriculture, about the hornet's characteristics, tendencies, and the chances of it making its way to Idaho and other parts of the United States.
