"I am sure that I do not completely understand what exact obedience means, but here is what I have come to understand," Brough said during his devotional. "It is not perfect obedience; that is impossible. Hence, repentance must be a key part of exact obedience."

"The thought of Heavenly Father allowing His Son to suffer, something that we can't understand and pay the price for all of our sins says that repentance was viewed as positive or why would Heavenly Father as His own Son to pay that price," Brother M. Joseph Brough, Second Counselor in the Young Men's General Presidency for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, told BYU-Idaho Radio.

"Everything in this life ultimately leads to the ordinances of the temple, it is the ultimate goal of every else we do," Elder Quinten L. Cook, a member of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints told BYU-Idaho Radio. "Whether it's gathering scattered Israel, whether it's perfecting the saints, whatever it is, the ordinances of the temple are where everything leads to. Nothing could be more important and now we've got them almost all over the world, what a wonderful thing."

Lieutenant Steven Poulter is one of 18 officers from Idaho Falls to attend the academy since 1952 and waited six years for the opportunity to attend.

"You'll see people will be chewing it for about a good twenty seconds before they start to sweat and wonder why in the world they've decided to put this thing in their mouths," Fred Eaton, founder of the Carolina Reaper Eating in Rexburg, told BYU-Idaho Radio.

"We have a really great bunch of people at the Idaho Falls Police Department," Idaho Falls Police Chief Bryce Johnson told BYU-Idaho Radio. "They're really good people at every level. They work hard, they want to do well, they've done well. So, I'm very encouraged by the caliber of people here, they're outstanding."

"No pain that we suffer, no trial that we experience is wasted," Powell said quoting Elder Orson F. Whitney. "It ministers to our education, to the development of such qualities as patience, faith, fortitude, and humility. All that we suffer and all that we endure, especially when we endure it patiently, builds up our characters, purifies our hearts, expands our souls, and makes us more tender and charitable, more worthy to be called the children of God."

"I want people to trust the Lord," Patrick Powell, Human Relations Employee Training and Development Coordinator told BYU-Idaho Radio. "From my experience, I found out that Father in Heaven and Jesus Christ are good people and the things that a lot of the world says about them and the prophets and apostles are unkind and untrue...difficult things happen, but that doesn't mean God doesn't love you."

"It's an opportunity for students, alumni to come and find jobs, find internships and network with graduate schools as well," Will Gierke, the Marketing and Events Coordinator for Internship Services at BYU-Idaho, told BYU-Idaho Radio. "The career fair gives an opportunity for you to in one day, to be able to contact a lot of different companies that would be great places to work for," Gierke said.
