Apple made a big announcement recently about new technology and gear that will soon be released.

"We're not immune to it," Carynn Harris, Volunteer Team Leader for the Rexburg chapter of Operation Underground Railroad told BYU-Idaho Radio. "A lot of people think that you know, we're safe in our little Rexburg, Idaho town and in reality, it does happen here too. But, that being the case, it doesn't happen here as much as it does in a lot of other parts of the world. In order for Operation Underground Railroad to do what they do, they need money. So, by raising awareness, it encourages people to donate."

"My hope is that we can get the price down...We can streamline it, get the price down to where the average coach owner can afford this and add this onto their bus to keep their passengers, their drivers comfortable while their waiting. This is a win-win thing."

"I think the message of it is not to be afraid, not to think that by reaching out for help, you're somehow, not enough," Sister Eyring said. "By reaching out for help, you'll help the others around you, a benefit I didn't know at the time that I needed help, but also that you'll become successful because you'll be able to thank your Heavenly Father and that's really the true source of help."

With the new fall semester approaching, there are many new and returning events and programs to the University.

"We got reggae, we got hip hop, we got pop, soul," Schultz said. "It gives a chance to come out, get rid of their fears of coming back to school, maybe it's their first year, but also just socialize, have a good time, listen to good music and get to know the community."

"The whole vision behind it is to take the two communities, the college, university community, the students and the local community and bring it together in one big event to have them know the history a little bit, the town, the businesses, just all of those things and bring them together for one day," Jackie Rawlins, Cultural Arts Director, and Museum Curator, told BYU-Idaho Radio.

"This is one opportunity where this is really an event for the men to get out and show their support and help raise awareness and raise some money while doing good in the community," Cory Meyer, a volunteer at the Idaho Falls Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault Center, told BYU-Idaho Radio.

"This source is much more affordable than letting children rip into laptops or iPads," Sesha Hammond, Librarian for the North Bingham County District Library Central Library, told BYU-Idaho Radio. "It [helps] children learn to code and how to use hardware."
