Volunteering is a way that we can be a part of something bigger. John shares on why we might want to volunteer in church. It is because we believe in something bigger and that we want others to also be a part of. It is a way that we can show God’s love to others, and to love them ourselves.

We need to let our light shine. We are called the light of the world, and there is nothing you need to do or be to have this identity. We get to choose though if we let our light shine.

We are called as Christian’s to represent the kingdom of God, and to carry this culture. Tim explores what it means to be salt of the world. He asks the question, are you preserving, flavouring, and being active in doing this?

Remain in God’s love. Ps Melanie shares an encouraging scripture from John 15 for us to always be desiring to remain in God and in His love. This passage shows us how we are to live, and the life source that comes only from being connected to Jesus. We remain in God’s love by dwelling in it, and obeying Him.

We had the privilege of having guest speaker Ps Christian McCudden with us this weekend. He spoke on the question, what do you want, encouraging all of us that God wants to know what it is that we are after. We pray that you are blessed by this week’s message.

God has the power to do what He has promised. Ps Melanie wraps up our faith series by both looking at the story of Abraham and Sarah, and sharing a personal testimony of healing, to teach us that God can do the impossible. Abraham and Sarah were taken on a faith journey to see God’s promised fulfilled. Even when all human reasons should mean hope is loss, God still fulfills His promises.

We are called to fight the good fight of faith. Megan encourages us that we are to be different then the world and to walk God’s way for living. There are fights that we can find us in, but hold strong knowing that it is the good fight of faith and you aren’t alone in this. We pray that you are blessed by this week’s message.
