Governor Gavin Newsom has committed $1.2 million for automated license plate readers in Oakland. Joining us to discuss is Brian Hofer is the Executive Director of Secure Justice, a non-profit that advocates against state abuse of power, and for reduction in government and corporate over-reach. He has also been the Chair of Oakland’s Privacy Advisory Commission since 2016.
