To celebrate the release of Don't Need Much, the debut full length from Great Cynics (formerly Cynics), I slapped together this little ditty. It's got three tracks from the new album, and an ambling and moderately drunken interview conducted in a small car in a Lincoln car park.

00:05 Great Cynics - Nightcaps

03:04 Interview: Part the First

16:41 Great Cynics - Not Saying Sorry

19:53 Interview: Part the Second

33:34 Great Cynics - Dave and Angela

Behold! Episode 2 of the I live sweat... podcast is out!

NOTE: I got the name of the Captain, We're Sinking track wrong whilst recording. It's not Crushed by Milwaukee's Best at all. It is, in fact, It's A Trap! Sincere apologies to the band, as well as anyone else who listened and went, 'WHA?" On the upside, I've now unlocked the 'Unprofessional Lackwit' Achievement, for 50 Gamerscore and can now add a dunce's cap to my avatar.

Hopefully you'll enjoy this selection of tracks from some of our favourite DIY/independent punk/hardcore/stuff artists. If you do, tell your mates, cos word of mouth is what this needs, and what it is, to some extent. It's basically a mixtape, with me talking in between songs. If you want to listen to these songs without me nattering on, go and buy the records!

Oh, and I didn't have any artwork, so I used a photo of the statue of Thomas Cook outside Leicester railway station. Some young scamps appear to have given him a melon with George Bush's face stencilled on it. Kids these days...

Cheers for listening.
