Love Is..1 John 3:16-24 A message thru scripture and singing as we look at the Reckless Love of God as He Loves us unconcerned about His well-Being and transforms us unrecognizably. His Love leads us to be with others. Remember the call of Jesus "Love God by Loving Others.

8.4.19 Don't Be Deceived. 1 John 2:18-29 What's something god that you remember from your childhood that was repeated over and over? Joke, song, pledge, etc.? John wants us to remember Jesus Loves You, Jesus died for you, Jesus rose again. Find power in repetitiveness as you learn and teach about Jesus. Remember that everything that you have been called to do is because Jesus was real and that He is at work in His Church. Do Not Be Deceived, it is by the Power of Christ at work in you, that you have accomplished anything.

7.28.19 The Message: Focus. 1 John 2:12-17 If we together live out our identity in Christ knowing that all of us as who we are in Christ are forgiven, we can live out that knowledge and experience in growth together. Discipleship is about living life together and learning and allowing it to shape us. What defines You? Where do you draw your identity from? What if our relationships are based on our identity in Christ and not what we do , what we have, etc.?

7.21.19 The Message: Love Out Loud. 1 John 2:3-11. Paul say s in Galatians 5 that for those who are in Christ, things change. But, simply knowing something is not enough to prove its value of worth. John lays out what it means to live out a life in Christ. Jesus said 1. Love God with all that you are 2. Love your neighbor as yourself. John says that some evidence should show what we believe . It is not enough to know about Jesus but the way one lives their life shows. 1.Obedience 2. Following the way of Jesus 3. Loving other people.

7.7.19 What Has Been Made Known. 1 John 1:1-4

What is the branding or reputation that we, and/or the Church are known for? We should be known by our relationship with God through Jesus. Sometimes we are so focused on getting everything right that we forget how to love people right. For many spirituality amounts to picking through artifacts of faith & ideology and we miss experiencing the Real God here with us. What is made known to us about Jesus isn't some fairy tale, but life, meant to be experienced in community and fellowship.

6.30.19 Parable of the Sower/Soil/Seed. Mark 4:1-20 Guest Speaker Chris Driver speaks on the importance of Jesus as the Seed. Dealing with the Soil, the hearts of People. and you as the Sower that God has entrusted to be a faithful and effective sower.

6.23.19 The Only Thing that Stays the Same. Luke 8:26-39 People don't like Change. We have created the evil in the world by trying to be what we were not meant to be. Have we settled for tolerance instead of changing ourselves to willing to love those not like us? It is a lifelong process of letting Him point out the mess in our lives and learning how to engage and change it.

6.9.19 shine our Way: Saying Goodbye; Owning Your Mess 2 Timothy 4:6-8. We all guard ourselves against past hurts. We don't really ever forgive what people have done. What if you own your own mistakes, being willing to talk about them, and build up others in the process? Vulnerability breeds relationships, misdirection breeds suspicions. Be the Best leader by being the best supporter and encourager.

6.2.19 Shine Your Way-I Have An Idea. Jonah.

How do we deal with things that aren't going the way we want and someone else steps in that has ideas that we aren't too sure about? Those moments of failure that we have are when we grow the most. They cause us to see the world and others in a new light. Sometimes the best leadership is not from the one who does it, but who recognizes those who can .

5.26.19 Shine Your Way: The Journey is Hard. Mark 8:31 - 9:1

The good news about Jesus is that He is faithful even when we are not. We've all been in places that we have had to make changes in our plans and directions. We guard our "kingdom" and think it is someone else's fault for things not working out. "Why can't we stay where we are?" or "We want to go back." The way that we've been heading may not be the way God wants us to go.
