We live in a world where our values shape our commitments but sometimes our commitments shape our values. What things are you committed to? Who are you committed to? Spirit -led or Me-led? Focusing on what God is doing in our life around us or not?

7.29.18 Christmas in July Series. Let's Make a Deal. Luke 2: 15 -20. Everyone has to make decisions about what to do with your life. The knowledge learned from the consequences of theses choices must then be acted upon in how you deal with it. God's mission has always been to reconcile all things back to Him ever since we chose to separate. He was willing to send His Son to complete the Holy Reunion.

7.15.18 Christmas in July series. "Baby Jesus, Big World" Luke 2: 1-7.

We love to find treasure and things of value in odd places. We are told that God came to us as a vulnerable little baby, but in that little baby came our Savior to save the world of its massive problems. It's easy to see God when things are going well in the overall picture. But, when you focus on the little things you see how big He is and learn to appreciate them.

7.1.18 Christmas in July Series- God is a God of Action. Isaiah 9:6,7 Sometime we see & hear things and we interpret them in a different way, we ignore or change according to our perceptions. We have heard so many things about God that we get wrong, but God Loved us so much that He sent Jesus for us. He designed us to need Him and to live with Him in our presence.

6.24.18 S.I.N. Series. Recognizing God's Work. We don't see ourselves as In Need because we keep busy trying to prove to ourselves that we can't possibly need God. It is in our weaknesses that Jesus is most revealed to the world. Be Still, & Know. Sit, Be Quiet, and know God's Love for us.

6.17.18 S.I.N. Seriously In Need series. "Now What?" Luke 10: 1-12 With Covenants involve us doing what we are called to do. God fulfilled His Covenant in Christ. When we look at people in need, we recognize that they are precious to God's kingdom where their lives are as they become bridges to their communities.

6.10.18 S.I.N Seriously In Need Series. What About Faith? Romans 4

Nobody is eligible to declare themselves worthy of the Glory of God. Only faith in Jesus will declare you righteous. By the way we see the world and create barriers how does God's faithfulness message penetrate our mindsets? God wants to reconcile all of creation to Him.

06.03.18 S.I.N. (Seriously in Need) As we look at Romans 3, we discuss how easy it is to look down on one another as we see others struggle with whatever sin they are confronting until it happens to ourselves. We build walls to keep us separated from others, point out other's sins, to treat others as objects instead of facing that we are just as in need of Christ as they are.

5.6.18 Waiting on God Series: Calming the Chaos. Rev. 15:2-4 God Calms the Seas and conquers the waters or chaos. Through water God brings about new lie and new , new identity. He has always been at work always more powerful than the sea, chaos and fear. When we allow our own personal preferences to become matters that separate us from one another we have missed the call of God and allowed chaos to overcome us rather than allow God to calm the sea.

4.29.18 Waiting Room-Justice is Served. Matthew 5:1-12 To us Justice looks as though it is Payback, but to God it is Restorative. The world Jesus puts forth is not the one we have made for ourselves. God blesses not only you, but those around you in need. Reach out and let them see Him in you.
