I wanted to seal this video with the ways I think we can consider supporting ourselves through realising our dreams this year. Let me know what things you are committing to doing this year to succeed in your dreams.
I came across posts of people saying they don't want to vision board or build extensive plans for 2023 because doing so for 2022 felt like jinxing themselves. Part of this for me feels like a fear of failing at the things we have planned for ourselves if they don't pan out as we see them. And I totally get it. Here's my perspective on that and a few of my wishes for 2023!
I hope you feel safe here. This episode sees me talking through triggers that are surfacing, and how I am coping or not coping through them.
The festive season comes with an overwhelming amount of sadness for me. When others are feeling joyous and celebrating their achievements of the year with family, I often find myself curled up into a ball of anxiety, triggers and feelings of melancholy. Between celebrating small things and noting the things I am grateful for, on this I share the things that I am going to start doing to make the festive season easier for me in the future.
Let me know what your coping strategies for holiday blues are.
To those that have been following The Healing is Now series, and the podcast overall, you may know already what Call It Growth is about already. However, I wanted to affirm once again why growth is and will continue to be the guiding theme for this podcast and I hope we can individually define what that means for us.
Finally, my becoming more aware of the need I have to heal, does not imply that I am healed, or on the accurate path of healing for that matter. I am not a health worker or a mental health advisor by any means. Please take from this podcast what you need at your own discretion.
I love you!
On this segment of The Healing is Now, I take time to vocalize and take conscious note of the things that I have lost this year. It was important for me to speak on these, to recognize and acknowledge them for myself, so that I am able to intentionally heal the areas of myself that are grieving from loss.
Take time to journey with me, and make notes for yourself that you need for your healing. Let me know what you think.
Thank you for listening.

I suddenly felt really tired and wondered how you were doing. What are you doing to feel better as the year draws to an end?
In this episode, I share what it means to be in solidarity with oneself. On the days where it is difficult to show up for ourselves, we tend to be clouded from the true and positive qualities about ourselves that contribute positively to the world. We almost seem to only remember the parts that perptually bring us further down. That's ok. Slowly, surely. we do get better at this and I am grateful that I am surrounded by a community that reminds me of the positive parts of myself when I need it most.
I had a bad day. Then two, then a couple of bad days and I got afraid. "We're losing it, again. This is the point of struggle we will only be able to escape once we've hit rock bottom. Or summer. Or meds. Or it's the end." But then I had a warrm moment on the phone with my friend, then a moment with my dad. Then a Friday night out and then a "Maybe we'll make it this time too" moment.
And I took the time to reflect on the vallidation, love and support that showed up for me when I least expected it, when I didn't reach out for it, when I did nothing else but just sit still, and wait.
The wait was worth it. I feel seen and I feel held by the community, guides and energy around me. I wish that for you too.
