Served for thirty years , went through the challenges of fauji life and in all this, his music accompanied him as his constant companion. Post superannuation he is deeply immersed in music, he has a Studio “PADARTH” and has won the best music composer award during the Jodhpur International Music Festival 2020.

He has dived to 150 ft under water and sky dived from 12000 ft on board aircraft carrier while sailing at sea.

An Indian Naval Aircraft Navigator , he carried out repeated strikes on enemy held ports and sunk three ships in the face of heavy anti-aircraft fire, in the 1971 Indo Pak War. He was awarded the Vir Chakra, for his unparalleled bravery and courage.
