As we await the launch of Season two, I thought it would be neat to share my own alleged experience with the extraterrestrial. What happened may or may not have just been a series of recurring dreams, spread out over nearly a decade, but there may be more to it. I feel as if these dreams have too many similarities to those who have allegedly been abducted by extraterrestrial beings to remain in the realm of an overactive subconscious imagination, and as such, believe that there is an extreme possibility that I may be a character, not unlike the ones described over the past ten episodes, who has come into contact with something not of this world. Today, we’re accessing the narrator’s secret archive, and will look at a personal set of encounters with extraterrestrials.
This is the story of The Dreams.
Our Milky Way Galaxy is home to some 200 billion stars, with an estimated 100 billion planets orbiting them. If we turn to the Drake Equation, conceived in 1961 by Dr. Frank Drake to approximate the number of extraterrestrial civilizations in the cosmic void of the universe, we find that our galaxy should be home to at least 20 of these civilizations. So why, despite our best efforts, have we failed in contacting even one of these advanced societies? The theories that attempt to answer this question vary, however the Dark Forest Theory, one of the focuses of our conversation today, explains this silence with terrifying implications. If it is to be believed, perhaps it’s within humanity’s best interests that we cease all attempts at contacting any and all extraterrestrial civilizations, and prepare for whatever they may have in store for us should we receive a response.
Today, we are joined by YouTuber and content creator ScardyGinge. Let’s enter the vault, and examine The Dark Forest Theory, as well as The Uncanny Valley.

Throughout recent history, there have been numerous stories detailing the alleged encounter and subsequent abductions by extraterrestrial forces that individuals have been the subject of. However, almost all these cases include a distinct lack of substantial, credible evidence, despite the fact that many leave their encounters with specific details, markings and implants on the body, as well as a variety of physical injuries. That said, if the case of Jim Sparks is to be believed, then what will be discussed today can be considered the only case of an individual being abducted, and returning with nearly 100 percent of their memories surrounding the ordeal.

In the summer of 1997, a woman from the Philippines residing in Chicago brought something quite unique and strange to the attention of a local journalist. She claimed to have met and befriended a man who had given up his body to be used as a vessel by an ancient, extraterrestrial being. The man, called Eugene Randall, had been taken over by a 3,000 year old being called Shimikus Etua. What followed was nearly an hour long interview with this alleged entity, with a rough summary being published in NUFORC.org shortly thereafter.

On a cool October day, in the fall of 1974, 41 year old Carl Higdon embarked on a weekend long hunting trip through the Medicine Bow National Forest in Carbon County, Wyoming. As an experienced hunter in a new and unfamiliar area, Carl was amazed to note that the area was incredibly remote and seemed completely untouched by human presence. Upon encountering a group of deer, Carl would eventually come to find that his hunting trip would be cut short. For, as he fired on one of the deer, he would encounter a being not of this Earth. A being he called Ausso One. Ausso One would then take Carl on an interstellar voyage, 163,000 lightyears away from our pale blue dot.

On the evening of October 11, 1973, Calvin Parker and Charles Hickson set out on a routine fishing excursion. They set up shop on their most resourceful fishing spot, located near an old shipyard in Pascagoula, Mississippi. The trip was standard fare for the men, as they were both experienced fishermen who had set out on similar trips numerous times before. However, on this October night, they would encounter something that would change their lives, and go down in history as one of the most credible UFO sightings and alien abductions.

On a cold and dark December night in the winter of 1978, then 26 year old night watch security officer Pier Zanfretta was on a routine patrol along the streets of Torriglia, a village in the metropolitan city of Genoa in Italy, when he encountered something that would both confuse and terrify him. While investigating what he initially thought was an attempted break in at his client’s property, Zanfretta encountered the extraterrestrial. For, on this moonless night, Zanfretta would stumble on a group of what could only be described as grotesque creatures from out of this world.

Around 11pm, on a warm August night in the summer of 1955, eight people burst into the police station in Hopkinsville, Kentucky. The people were in a frenzy, a clear state of panic. “We need help!”, one had proclaimed, following up by uttering a phrase that, at the time confused local authorities. “We’ve been fighting them for nearly four hours!” 66 years later, the tale of a group engaging in a terrifying and seemingly impossible battle with what would be described as extraterrestrial forces would go down in history, cementing itself as a legend in local Kentucky circles. For, you see, they alleged that for nearly four hours, the group was attacked by what they described as little silver men.

Tucked away in the desolate mountain ranges of the Bolivian southwest, sits the once thriving city of Potosi. Within the area lies the impoverished and worn down province of Opoko. In 1967, 24 year old Valentina Flores and her husband Gumersindo were tending to their flocks of sheep and llamas. The couple was illiterate, and belonged to the Quechua Indigenous tribe. By all accounts, the couple knew nothing regarding UFOs, aliens, and anything else that falls into the territory of the extraterrestrial. Nonetheless, on an otherwise normal day of tending to their flocks, their lives would change forever, in an event considered by many to be one of the most violent alien encounters in history.

On a quiet and otherwise unassuming day in September of 1994, a collection of students from a school in Ruwa, in the Republic of Zimbabwe saw something truly bizarre. Something that seemingly defies all logic and reason. While some ran in terror, others became fixated on the events unfolding before them.
