Heartbreaking loss for the Jazz but at the end of the day, the Jazz just didn't play well enough to be as close as they were to winning this game. Donovan Mitchell dropped 32 points but didn't get much else help on the offensive end. Rudy Gobert had an impressive box score as well with 19 rebounds and 6 blocks. It's tough losing the second one in a row but let's get back on track next game. My prediction is that Mitchell will have a great showing to guarantee the next win.

The Utah Jazz had a dominant 2nd half performance against the Wizards. Donovan Mitchell was hot in the first quarter and finished with 28 points. Patrick Beverly and Anthony Edwards were disrespecting Rudy Gobert's defensive ability after losing to the Jazz. In the same week, the NBA's official MVP rankings moved Gobert up to the sixth spot just behind Chris Paul. That may not sound like a big deal but even though it's a one in a million chance that Gobert wins the award it shows that the league is starting to value good basketball play even if it doesn't show up in the box score.
