  • She did lie to keep him safe 
  
  
• Sarah was obedient to her husband 1 Peter 3:6
  • Sarah and Abraham was put together by the Great I AM 
  • She trusted the Great Creator to protect them and so she obliged
  
  
• The Great Creator will uncover 
  • Pharaoh was plagued because of Sarah
  • Sarah was a great wife to Abraham

What a blessing it has been to bring biblical characters to life, and to hear testimonies of how the Great I Am called many of us from darkness to life. Some testimonies have shown that pain truly awakens purpose. To our listeners, thank you so much for your faithfulness and encouragement.

• What does having a call on your life look like? The simple answer to this question is to follow our discussion with Jessica Cadet. Jessica shared her journey in Christ and what it means to be called by God.
• Poverty introduced her to Christ
  • Her moms family were not Christian
  • Christ was not a huge spiritual presence in her life
  • She was introduced to the Salvation Army in middle school
  • They gave free food, toys and other goody
  
  
• Getting baptized several times
  • Jessica was baptized several times in different faiths 
  • While in her 20s she was introduced to the body of Christ
  • She lived in apartment build that was right next door to the church of Christ
  • Her sister came to her and said she wanted to go to worship 
  
  
• Her life was a huge testimony
  • Jessica was a premature baby 
  • She lost her dad when she was 7 months
  • Moved out on her own at the age of 16
  • She lived a life that could have put her in the grave 
  
  
• Wanting what God does not want for us
  • Jessica has gone through a divorce 
  • She is at peace with her decision but it was not easy 
  • Her covenant with God was her reason for working on her marriage

What does having a call on your life look like? The simple answer to this question is to follow our discussion with Ray Gosa. Ray took us on a phone both ride as he shared his journey to Christ.

• Grew up in the church 
  • Ray grew up in the body of Christ, his grandparent and parents grew up in the church
  • He recognized that his journey began with indoctrination 
  • He had a period where he was in the church, but not of the church
  
  
• Baptized in more than once
  • Ray was baptized at the age of nine the first time
  • He was then baptized at the age of 21 after a better undering of the word
  • Now in his 30s he is in a constant state of dying to himself
  
  
• Being raised in the body gives a foundation 
  • He had a sense of remission of sin whenever he indulged in sin 
  • Ray has been extremely aware of the Word of God 
  • He discovered the difference between indoctrination and what the Word actually says
  
  
• Transcending indoctrination and sitting at the feet of Jesus
  • Ray shares that Jesus is the only hero and role model that we all need
  • Ray also shares how we have to walk in the mind of Christ 
  • He told us that we have to become Jesus on this time side of life

  • The accounts of Sodom and Gomorrah deals with unrighteousness

What does having a call on your life look like? The simple answer to this question is to follow our discussion with Davon Rivera. Davon  is a teenage young man that has a lot to say:

• Raised in the Body of Christ
  • Davon was born and raised in the body of Christ
  • His father was not as active in his life and that affected him
  • Miss behaved in school due to the absence of his father
  
  
• Suicidal thoughts
  • Davon felt empty and did not desire to live any longer 
  • The love of his family and his mom showed him that he had a lot to live for
  • He heard the voice of the Lord telling him He had plans for him in this life
  
  
• His baptism
  • Brother Daniels was preaching during evening service and he felt it was time to say yes to God
  • He was so attuned with the minister and felt like it was only him and the preacher  
  • He shared his experience with friends about his baptism 
  
  
• Being able to connect with children his age
  • He was called to minister to children his age 
  • At the age of 2 he was making the decision to get baptized 
  • Planting the seed of the word in other children
  • Baptism was an experience for him

• What does having a call on your life look like? The simple answer to this question is to follow our discussion with Shaundra Miller. Shaundra shared her journey in Christ and what it means to be called by God.
• When the devil came knocking
  • Both parents are in the church
  • She was born and raised in the body of Christ
  • The enemy came for her family and her parents split
  
  
• Getting baptized at 12
  • Shaundra saw her older sister get baptized and she did not follow suit 
  • She began to feel the tug and asked herself the question if she was ready
  • She knew what was taught to her about being baptized
  • Shaundra put the Lord on in baptism two weeks after her older sister
  
  
• Teen and Young adulthood was trying
  • Shaundra dealt with depression and suicidal thoughts in her teens 
  •   As a young adult, she was promiscuous 
  • She dealt with other issues due to family struggles 
  
  
• Finding healing in the Word of God and hearing sermons
  • Shaundra knew she had to take her thoughts captive and recognize who is in control 
  • Her mom did not know that playing sermons in the home help Shaundra grow in strength 
  • She also connected with the youth group and used her voice

• Hagar and Ismael seed and fruit dilemma 
  • Hagar was carrying a seed of value
  • Hagar is vindicated when she conceives
  
  
• Ishmael’s call from God had static on the line
  • Hagar had to leave Sarah’s rule to hear from God
  • The Lord informs her that Ishmael will be fruitful and a father of princes

What does having a call on your life look like? The simple answer to this question is to follow our discussion with Kimberly McBride. Kimberly is a servant and a cheerleader for those around her.

• Kim grew up in the church of Christ
  • She grew up in Arkansas and was a COC baby 
  • Kim said even with her growing up in the body she was not converted
  • There were expectations set for her family
  • She was baptized at the age of 20
  • Kim was riding the coattail of her parents for years
  
  
• Getting ready to leave home to attend college
  • Kim parents have dropped her off and spoke to the minister and said she was in his care 
  • She began to learn how to have a relationship with God for herself
  • She was free to do whatever she wanted to do because there was no parental accountability
  
  
• Kim showed up but was detached
  • Kim was showing up because it was expected of her  
  • Her parents were very strict and she was not allowed to have friends  
  • She had not developed meaningful relationships with brothers and sisters  
  
  
• Shook up, straddling the fence and finally seeing God
  • Kim was in a horrible accident that was meant to take her life but she was still not converted
  •  Her dad fell ill and she had to take intermittent leave of absence.
  • In that moment she began to pray for her dad and began to establish a relationship with the Lord God
  • She relocated to Florida and did nothing for a year
