Please help me welcome Tish Hiestand from Forever Home Donkey Rescue & Sanctuary Inc. Tish is going to fill is in about these awesome 4 footed animals and what it takes to take care of them and some history about them.

We'll be talking with Tamra Rothenburger about her rescue AZ Sugar Gliders Rescue and Hedgehog Mafia. She's going to give us information about their care, diet, and upkeep. She'll also talk about why people get these as pets and then can't keep them.

We'll be talking with our guests about some new legislation the HSUS is trying to get enacted, puppy mills, hoarding, and maybe touch on rights for animals in cruelty cases.

We will be discussing some new bills the HSUS is trying to get passed having to do with puppy mills, dog and cock fighting paraphanelia, and declawing of cats, along with hoarding, oversight of shelters/rescues, and why animals don't have court advocates for cruelty cases.

Discussing different avenues of dog training and how it's changed over the years, what positive reinforcement is and how it works, a couple different forms of dog reactivity/aggression and how trainers can help with these issues, and the difference between service, therapy, and emotional support dogs.

We'll be discussing reptiles and the rescues that take them in. We'll also be talking about their care and maintenance, some things you should know if you're thinking about getting a reptile pet, and the different types of reptiles both exoctic and native to AZ.
