  • Once Upon a Mask: Part 2 (Book 3)

And then, and then, AND THEN… Julia Quinn’s An Offer from a Gentleman, continued! • The Venn Diagram of Camp

In the very mortal words of Lydia and Taylor, watch Princess Bride, watch Tenth Kingdom, watch Willow! We go completely off topic and into the woods of fairytale adaptations, pausing briefly to consider the ethics of reading the end of a book on a podcast (spoilers for the last two pages of The Princess Bride) and emerge out the other side with a super, super long-winded guide to our brains on movies.

Next week: Part 2 of An Offer from a Gentleman by Julia Quinn!

Some things we just love to hate! Lydia and Tay discuss the infamous opera adaptation of Emily Bronte’s brooding Wuthering Heights. "Half time" is what they call intermission in... our heads. Just how long does it take Cathy to die? Repeat after us: WUTHERING HEIGHTS IS NOT A ROMANCE.
