Calling the Dawgs

What will the 2020 College Football Season look like? Will we even have a season, at all? Will it be only in-conference games? Will there be a CFP? How will they decide who goes to the CFP? When will the season start? Would they move to Spring Football?

There are a lot of questions these days. Plenty of uncertainty. In this episode, we give you our take on how it could all shake out. Plus, we'll discuss recent recruiting and team news.  As of right now, we are somewhat optimistic about this season. But, one thing is for certain, it will be anything but normal.

Still,

We did not see this one coming. The Georgia Bulldogs are now fully immersed in the Transfer QB Era. Former 5-Star QB, JT Daniels, is transferring to the Dawgs from USC (the real USC - not Columbia). With the addition of Daniels and the prior transfer of Newman, the Bulldogs now have one of the most talented QB rooms in the country.... out of nowhere. Newman is the presumptive starter for the year, but it remains to be seen if Daniels will be immediately eligible to compete with Newman this year. We discuss this and the Dawgs' plans moving forward this summer. Players are now making their way back to the Classic City. Going to be a lot of conditioning in June!

Is Scott Cochran the greatest recruit of the Kirby era!!?!? Needless to say, we are pumped about that guy being a Dawg. The Dawgs performed fairly well at the NFL Combine. There were a couple nice surprises... and a few letdowns. But all-in-all, the Dawgs got it done. We are looking forward to seeing where they go come April!

Another year, another #1 recruiting class in the country for your Georgia Bulldogs! I think the best word to describe this coaching staff on the recruiting trail is "relentless". Kirby & company are never out of it for anybody, and they will not be out-worked. The crazy thing is, this may be their best class yet!

Well, Fromm is going to the NFL.... and Cade Mays had to ruin his day. Is Jamie Newman the guy??? There's plenty to talk about this week with the offseason headlines.  We discuss everything you need to know going into 2020.

Doesn't it feel good to finish the year with a win? In this episode, Chancy and Chee discuss exactly that. We also offer our opinion on a hot Dawg topic as of late - whether or not Jake Fromm will be sticking around for his Senior year or entering the NFL Draft. Either way, we are excited about the future of our program once again!

At this point, we are lucky to be fielding a full team on New Year's Day. Let's hope we can avoid the same result as last year's Sugar Bowl. Atleast we get to see some of the young guns!
