According to the Washington Post, twenty-nine text messages obtained by the Post and CBS News show that Justice Clarence Thomas’ wife, Ginni Thomas, "repeatedly pressed White House Chief of Staff Mark Meadows to pursue unrelenting efforts to overturn the 2020 presidential election." Consequently, some Democrats are calling Thomas to recuse himself on certain cases or even to step down from the Supreme Court.
