Do you know anyone in your life who’s just completely unhappy because they’re totally ungrateful? I don't! What I do see is that the biggest problems we face, such as guilt, shame, grief, and fear (anywhere from anxiety to panic) are often called mindset issues when a new mindset may help but not heal. That's why I say that we have a romance with mindset work and it's keeping us sick. Approaching terrain where we have no experience, to address something hard that’s in a blind spot - that can be scary. It takes courage. “Where do I begin?” That question truly takes courage to ask. And this episode provides some insight to that question and more. For everyone out there struggling with why "changing your mindset" hasn't helped, and suffering in the process, this episode may help! "There aren't necessarily any shortcuts, but you can go faster." Agree or disagree? In today's short show, I offer that there is a shortcut, and it's this: Go deeper. And also, how deep you go determines the outcome you create. There's only one reason why inner problems (blocks, anxiety, disconnection, doubt, confusion, fear) linger: You didn't go deep enough. If the issue originates within, the resolution lies within as well. The right strategy will help you release it for good as long as you go all the way down... What do you think? Is there a place in your life you know you hold back even though in others you leave it all on the field? Today we have something really special. I create in 9’s, so every 9th show closes a cycle, completes a minor journey in our great journey together. This is a universal truth: completion allows new beginnings. Death is a vital part of life, not something to fear. Some of us had someone to read us stories when we were little. Some of us didn’t. What I’d like to do is give 9th shows over to the telling of classic children’s stories. All you have to do is show up, sit back, and prepare to enjoy. I hope by reading you a story today you can receive something beloved but forgotten; maybe you can recover something that was once thought to be lost forever. For everyone who's paid the fee that comfort exacts, today's story is about cherishing our liberty, being proactive with gratitude, and the wisdom it takes to appreciate peace. I share with you today, Aesop's Fable, The Frogs Who Wanted a King.

The conversation with today's guest Christine is such a treat to share with you. Christine is a mindset coach who is also an Energy Healer and Medium, dedicated to supporting others to be the best version of themselves. She has a very cheerful demeanor which really stands out to me in a world full of people taking themselves very seriously... The highlights of this conversation to me are really about connecting on the best response to heavy issues, and how to unburden ourselves. She also shares a lot of wisdom about the meaning and significance she derives from her connection to higher power. This episode could also be very helpful for anyone raising children into young adults today, and especially for the women in my community! Christine was such a joy to communicate with and I'm so very happy to share her with you on this Monday. I hope you'll join us. November is men’s health awareness month. This topic is IMPORTANT to me. In today's episode we dive into why men in our lives, our workplaces, our communities are more susceptible to suicide, and what each of us should do about it. What we don’t speak about, doesn’t change. What we don’t prioritize, doesn’t change. But when most "solutions" amount to coping and managing with anxiety and deeply seated unhappiness, would you be inspired to take action? I’m here to beat this drum again: It’s POSSIBLE to heal these mental health challenges completely. Anyone saying otherwise just hasn’t helped someone to do it. When people ask me why I specialize in working with men, among other things, this is the reason. Men are underserved in mental health. I specialize to hold open a door that most people don’t see is there. I specialize because the world is better when our men are present, emotionally powerful and adept, and free from the burdens that aren’t necessary to bear and actually aren't helping anyone. Share with someone who needs to hear this. Show notes: https://www.palladiummind.com/calm-confident-happy-podcast/mens-health-awareness-2021
There's a dynamic that's been going on for some time now in the world of self help. A dynamic instructing that giving is wrong when it happens at personal expense. This dynamic causes lions to de-claw themselves. Today's episode is about RE-EMPOWERING POWERFUL GIVERS. Because there’s a way of giving, even to the point of self sacrifice –such that it isn't a problem to solve, but a standard to aspire to. This is real power. You're not alone. Email me for support clearing the pain part of adhering to your values. Pain is a tool & a language I help people translate. In this episode I share one of my favorite memories of being a student at the US Air Force Academy - how I "broke" an academic simulation meant to demonstrate human nature through collaboration. Competition can make us rabid if we don’t stop to consider that maybe the stakes are not all they’re being broadcast to be. But Trust is the antidote. All it takes is one person to lead like that to let all the air out of the balloon. 18 years after the fact, I realize that this memory doubles as my vision of the future. It’s also a picture of the way the relationships in my life are structured. What about yours? Do you want that ease, that trust, that cooperation for yourself? How do you bring it about? It isn’t achieved through force – it isn’t achieved through convincing. It’s achieved one of us at a time - pulling the curtains back and turning the lights up on the fact that power isn’t something in short supply, but each of ours inherently. I'd love to know how this influences your thinking today, or how it helps you.

Most approaches to issues of Confidence fail for 1 of 2 reasons. Gaining awareness about when and how these variables are at play will allow you to make progress to every goal more quickly and easily. In today's episode we uncover what those are and how to remedy them. This is where gaining control over your own consciousness allows you to create change directly at the source, where it's needed: in the unconscious. Perhaps the biggest reason you haven't resolved the issue yet is simply for not using the right tool. Even the ability to consider this is an important step forward. Today I was getting dressed. I pulled on some athletic clothes, they didn’t fit the way they did a couple weeks ago. I thought about how much focus the idea of appearance can consume - without us even noticing it. This is a perfect example of the matrix effect. Attention following attention, instead of attention directing attention – like a big cat chasing its tail. This is what I mean when I talk about helping people get inner control. Liberation is about freedom from the spin cycle. Helping the king of the jungle orient beyond his own tail. So he can get on with his real purpose. Truth is, life doesn’t even really begin until we step out of this spin cycle. And the possibilities for creating outcomes really just BEGIN there. That’s where the fun truly begins too. There's a reason that Clarity is one of the pillars of my framework, and discernment is a part of the process, a necessary skill to develop along the way... Discernment means you don't end up second guessing later, or realizing that you made a mistake months or years later. A classic example could be with forming new partnerships (personal or professional). Tune in to this episode for specifics about how to achieve self trust through the combination of bulletproof discernment and crystal clarity.
