The book of Deuteronomy, is Moses’ second giving of the law to the children of Israel. It was given a second time, because the first generation had rejected it and had died in the wilderness. And now, prior to crossing the Jordan River, to enter the land of promise, Moses, wanted them to understand that by keep God’s law it would usher in continual blesses upon them; And disobedience would produce to them a curse.

Naaman, captain of the host of the king of Syria, was a great man but he was a leper. If he remained a leper, he would always have a problem. Leprosy can be seen as sin. If we remain sinful, we will always have a problem because we cannot enter heaven. We can take our problem to the altar and let Jesus take care of it. Come let us reason together, saith the Lord.

There are times that we may think God does not listen to or hear us when we call because He doesn’t answer on our time line. But we must not mistake His silence as Him not hearing us.
