What are you expecting when you go to the house of God? If we come to the house of God waiting for the right song to be sung, the right message to be preached, or the right person to meet, you will probably leave disappointed every time.

The God of all glory did everything that He did according to His own plan and purpose. He had specific pattern and principles that He instituted through the human agency of man. Hidden within the pattern of the tabernacle was a pattern to be revealed once the new covenant was to be revealed. Throughout His history on earth water has always been used as a symbol of deliverance from bandage. He is still delivering by water today.

Every so often, when I am listening to the radio in my car, a loud blaring sound will come over the radio for about 15 seconds and then someone will come on and say, “This was only a test. If this had been an actual emergency, you would have been told what to do.” Tests are designed to help us learn and know what to do in life.

One of the things that I like about the book of Job is not that he endured the things that he went through, or how God blessed him with more in the end. But I like his attitude when he received the eveil reports of his loss. With all the evils that came his way, with what seemed like just a moment of time, Job still realizes where his strength came from and what he should do. He worshipped God.
