Our Good Shepherd makes us to lie down in green pastures and leads us by still waters! If we're to know and follow his voice, we must be in his Word daily, and assemble together as his Body as he has prescribed. He leads us to sit at his table!

God sometimes calls us to rest. As our Good Shepherd, he leads us not by pushing us around or beating us with sticks, but by lovingly calling us with a tender voice. When we're called to rest, if our faith is in him, he will provide. We can rest in his provisions!

At the center of Psalm 23 is "no fear"! God is faithful to provide for our needs. Being content with what he has provided is a rare jewel. Are we dissatisfied with his providence? "The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want." We have a precious inheritance!

Our shepherd created the heavens and the earth; if we come under his authority, he will provide for our needs! We must ask ourselves: is the Lord really my shepherd? Am I separated unto him, am I obedient to him, and do I love like he loves?

Am I touching the Savior, or am I just doing my own thing? It's no use trying to do God's work with our own hands.  We must touch him to be healed. We need him!

Whatever your struggle, the path to praise is to get in the presence of God. Call upon his name, and demons will flee. As in Jericho, when we worship, walls come down! Jesus is the good that pierces through all grief. He turns mourning into dancing!!!

We need to sabbath, to slow down, and let God give life to the body! We gather to be made whole by God's spirit. He doesn't need us to help him save or restore us; he is the living water, and his work is finished!

Wisdom from above is pure, peaceable, gentle, open to reason, full of mercy and good fruits, impartial, and sincere! What seems big to us is tiny to God; if we lack wisdom, we should ask him and he will give generously!

When we're in desperation, God is doing something with us. We may be greatly tried, but anything we could flee to would be lesser than him. Blessed is the man who remains steadfast under trial!
