Christians are to be baptized because Jesus has commanded us to. Though baptism isn't a requirement for salvation, we should examine our own motives if we are declining to obey this command. It's an indication of submission to God, something every Christian is called by God to do. Pastor Josh talks about the many benefits it conveys upon the believer, as well as the rest of the Church body!

Revelation is filled with worship, and it's prescribed not only for the future, but for now. He's pleased by loud, thunderous worship... so we sing with all our hearts! Pastor Josh explores the structure of the godhead regarding worship, and talks about why the marriage between God and the Church is celebrated with a meal.

We should rejoice in God, and give him all glory! He gives us a seat at his table, not because of our righteousness, but his. So we clothe ourselves in Biblical living, and live in the joy of the Lord! Living in communion with God is our top priority.

As Christians, we must focus on eternal things, not things that will eventually be burned up. When Babylon burned, the world was lost. Sin, especially sexual sin, corrupts the land, as shown throughout Scripture. We must fall on our faces and declare that we are slaves of Christ-- not slaves of the world!

Heaven is a place of giving honor: Father, Son and Holy Spirit give honor to one another, and God gives honor to his Church. He is so worthy of our worship, what else can we give our lives to? For the advancement of the Kingdom of God, we should be more like our Lord: don't tear down others, but build them up!

Pastor Josh digs deeper into the fall of Babylon!

Churches are tempted to step the church of its beauty, modesty, and holiness, in favor of the trappings of Babylon. Are we called to fill the church, or to be faithful? All of God's plans for us flow from his nature: he is good! He'll never withhold any good thing from us.

The spirit of Babylon is to be consumed with self-glory, and deluded about one's future apart from God. However, Christ's people are called out of Babylon, and called to live as Christ!

If we adopt the ungodly philosophies of Babylon, we become a home for every unclean thing. God calls us to flee Babylon! He's provided a new home for us in Heaven, which no one can deserve without the work of his son, Jesus. He deepens our character, so he can use us to fish for men... so Heaven can be filled!

When required by authorities to do something that would be against God's command, we must go with God!
