What Jesus did on the cross for us is a message of good news that will change the rest of our lives.

The breastplate or righteousness

The greatest commandment, given by Jesus, tells us to love God with all of our heart—our desires, emotions, affections, and will. We will be a people who love God with our emotions, our desires, our affections, and our will. Mark 12:30

Persecution for righteousness is the acid test of our faith. We will live out our Upside Down life In Christ, even when we are persecuted for doing so. Matthew 5:10-14 ESV

One of the most difficult challenges Jesus gives his followers is to get along with people who hurt us. Forgiving what you can’t forget is a great challenge for the kingdom citizen, but the Holy Spirit supernaturally empowers us to do so. “Blessed are the merciful, for they shall obtain mercy.” (Matthew 5:7)

A kingdom citizen is thirsty and hungry for the things of God. We shouldn’t be satisfied with anything less than His Righteousness. Matthew 5:6; John 6
