All Christians are called, capable, and commissioned to evangelize. Paul had more motives for evangelizing that most professing Christians have excuses for not. We want to get people saved so that they can go to Heaven. The harvest is plenty but the laborers are few. As a Christian there is a judgment seat that you will have to give an account for what you have done or didn't do. God will be looking at the motives. We won't be judged on our sin because that has already been taken care of through the death of Christ. But we will be given crown which we will want to cast at His feet. Hell is real, so we need to try our hardest to keep people from it. Out of all the motivations that Paul had, the greatest is from 2 Corinthians 5:14, "For the love of Christ constrainesth us ..."

God was able to use Saul's enmity against God and turn it around for His own purpose. He had a one on one encounter with Jesus which made him be able to an apostle. He didn't know who He was at first, he asked who it was. Saul had to be humbled. He goes from breathing out threatenings and slaughter, to trembling, saying, Lord what wilt thou have me to do?

Communion is not a sacrament. It does not make one holy unto God, does not make one better, etc. It does not transform into the actual body of Jesus nor does the juice become His blood. We celebrate it, not as a sacrament, but as a church ordinance, along with baptism, that is meant to be a testimony of what God has done in our lives. We are showing that through the broken body, and the shed blood of Jesus Christ, we have come to the forgiveness of sin. Without the shedding of blood, there is no remission of sin.

The devils attacks are everywhere. Where a family is trying to raise their children for the Lord, the devil's attacks are the hardest. Even if the family is not living for the Lord, the devil still wants to get his talons in them and tear them apart. God's desire is for each of us to know Him as savior and Lord.

To believe on the name of the Son of God, is the key that unlocks the door. To believe on Jesus is to find rest in His name. This rest is knowing the peace that comes with the forgiveness of our sins. The Bible says that each of us are guilty of sinning against God. The wages of sin is death. Jesus has paid the death price in our stead. In order for someone to be truly saved, he or she must realize that they are guilty before God. You are a certain individual in God's sight, that He has plans for.
