Fifteen years of preparation for Samuel-and God called him. The story of God using a person yielded to Himself and then assigning him his first very hard task. A very good story with so applicable truths throughout.

This is a very sad story of a priest-Eli and his failure to discipline his two sons and its terrible consequence.

This passage of scripture reveals how that we can trust the character of God right where you are now-as did Hannah when she prayed this incredible prayer of faith.
