Have you ever thought about your own death? Have you ever prayed about the day you will die and the surrounding circumstances? Did the Lord Jesus pray about his death? And if he did, what kinds of things did the Lord pray for? In today's lesson we get a glimpse into what the Lord might have prayed for and and learn from Him how to prepare for our own death.

What an amazing opportunity of training for (the) disciples. How should we view wealth when the Lord blesses us with it? A disciple must guard his/her heart not to be decieved by the riches of this world. The deceit of riches causes us to have a misplaced value, misplaced trust, misplaced Identity, misplaced criteria, and a misplaced reward.
