Calvary Chapel Elk Grove-Victorious Christian Living

To God, every life matters. So much so in fact, that the ultimate purpose of Jesus coming was to seek and save, at extraordinary cost, the lost. We'll explore that truth today as we join Pastor Phil, and continue our study, No One Is Worthless To God.

They say that beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Made in the image of God, you and I are created with intrinsic value to our Maker. In truth, no one is without worth in the eyes of God, as Pastor Phil will explain in his message today. So, lets join him now in the book of Joshua, chapter 1 as we begin todays teaching.

In some industries the key to success is summed up in three words, location, location, location. Interestingly, the same might be said when it comes to the Christian life. Pastor Phil explains as we open our Bible to Josua chapter 1 for a message entitled Where Are You Going To Live.

Joshua 1:6-9

In our study today, Pastor Phil begins a series on the spiritual warfare inherent in the life of a follower of Christ. And we will be looking to the Old Testament book of Joshua for our text in this journey. So, please, join us as we begin our study, Victorious Christian Living.

Wouldn't it be valuable if there were a secret to finding success in our quest for Victory in the Christian Life. Well, there are principles that we can glean from the lives of those who have walked with God before us. With that in mind, we look to the book of Joshua, turning to chapter 1 verse 5 as Pastor Phil shares today's teaching.

The Christian life can well be compared to a battle. But, unlike most battles, the outcome of this conflict is already assured, as God has given us a Promise of Victory. Today, we turn our attention to Joshua chapter 1 as Pastor Phil shares on this truth as he continues our series, Victorious Christian Living.
