In this passage John gives us three evidences of the Father's love in our life.

In 1 John 2:18-29, I will be answering two questions in our verse by verse study. First, what is the "spirit of the antichrist and second what protects you and I from the deception and lies that come from the spirit of the antichrist?

In this Spirit inspired letter, John lays out twelve contrasts by drawing a defining line between light & darkness, truth & lies, and life & death. Today we will unpack three verses, 1 John 2:15-17, and see the contrast between the Love of the Father and the Love of the World.

Have you ever questioned your salvation and wanted to know for sure that you are saved? 1 John 2:1-14 addresses this very subject by giving us four evidences of our salvation. Lets study them together and get this straight once and for all!

Our teaching today comes from 1 John 1 where John the Apostle gives instruction on how to walk in the glorious light of the Lord Jesus Christ.

In this closing chapter Peter pleads with you and I to follow Christ no matter what and to grow in the grace of God because Jesus will come again one day.
