In 1 Peter 4, Peter is continuing to address believers who are being persecuted for their faith. Telling them how to arm themselves so they can be ready to stand strong in the faith.

As you and I get closer to the return of Christ, living a faithful Christian life is going to become more and more difficult. This passage teaches us how to live a godly life in the midst of persecution, suffering, and difficult times. This passage also gives us insight into what Jesus did between His crucifixion and resurrection.

What comes to your mind when you hear the phrase "living the good life"? In 1 Peter 3:8-12, scripture lays out what "Living the Good Life" looks like and how you and I can "Live the Good Life" that honors Jesus our Lord.
