This week we'll begin a new section of book of Romans as Paul now begins to task the believer with specific ways that you and I can live out our faith. Today we'll begin by seeing that we should be a living sacrifice, that we should not be conformed to the world and that we all have a part to play in the body of Christ.

This week we'll be having a special New Year's Day testimony and teaching from Josh Mullins who pastors at Calvary Chapel Jackson County.

This week we'll conclude the fourth section of the book of Romans as Paul will speak to the simple fact that God is not done with Israel. One day the chosen nation of God will come to faith in Jesus Christ as they come not by their works or their keeping of the law but through faith in the Son of God.

"It’s Christmas Eve! Tonight, we’ll celebrate the coming of the Savior of the world, the Lord Jesus Christ. We’ll talk about the circumstances surrounding His coming, and we’ll enjoy a time of worship, kids' choir, and some fellowship together."

This week we'll be talking about the simple fact that we all have the opportunity to receive the Lord Jesus Christ in our hearts and we'll see it's a simple process as we believe in our hearts and confess with our mouths.

This week we'll see the religious leaders continue to question Jesus as they ask about the resurrection of the dead and which of the commandments is the greatest of all. At the end of our study tonight we'll see Jesus give two examples...One we should look to follow, and the other which should be avoided.

This week we'll look at God's sovereign hand over the affairs of men, especially of His people Israel. God knows the end from the beginning. He knows every choice we will make and He acts accordingly.

This week the Jewish religious leaders will confront Jesus asking who gave Him the authority to do the things He had done. Then the Lord will speak a parable to them revealing that they just like their fathers had rejected those God had sent to them. We'll finish our study as Jesus will be questioned about whether the people should pay taxes to Caesar or not.

We'll finish out chapter 8 of Romans today. We'll talk about 5 words that speak of God's work in our lives. We'll talk about how God foreknew us, predestined us, called us, justified us and glorified us.

This week we'll see the triumphal entry of Jesus not on a war horse but instead on an animal of service...Upon arrival Jesus will inspect the city of Jerusalem and then we'll see the Lord curse the fig tree.
