In Joshua 15 -20, Joshua encourages Israel to complete their assignment of occupying the entire promised land. They do, but they do it incompletely, on their own terms. We’ll examine the spiritual consequences of Israel’s failure to separate themselves from the behavior and beliefs of the world.

In this message from 1 Corinthians 1:18-31, Paul contrasts the world’s perceived foolishness of the cross with the true wisdom and power of God, emphasizing that human wisdom cannot comprehend God's plan of salvation. We will study that God chose what is considered weak and foolish by the world to shame the wise and strong, demonstrating that true wisdom and righteousness come from God through Christ.

In Joshua 12, 13, and 14 Israel is instructed to “finish the job” by taking possession of the entire promised land. We also get a great snapshot of Caleb’s character, a man who followed God wholeheartedly.

In 1 Corinthians 1:1-17, Paul addresses the Corinthian church urging unity among believers. He highlights the importance of focusing on Christ to overcome divisions, reminding them that their spiritual gifts should be used to build up the church rather than cause discord.

As we finish chapter 10 and begin chapter 11, Joshua was faithful to lead the Nation of Israel. We see how the conflicts became increasingly more challenging from each battle to the next. Ultimately, this rich history of conquering these kingdoms teaches us how obedience pleases the Lord and ultimately brings the victory.

This week's message emphasizes humility, gratitude for salvation, and the transformative power of God's grace. It encourages believers to remember their past without condemnation and to live in the fullness of their new identity in Christ.

In Joshua 10, God demonstrates His mighty power in two dramatic miracles. We’ll also learn two important things: When we Trust God, He will fight the battle for us. Before we start, they are already won.

We will learn to encourage believers to actively live out their faith by embodying God's truth, growing in godliness, and allowing God's grace to transform their lives and influence others.

Joshua lets his guard down, not inquiring of the Lord before making a treaty with the Gibeonites. Chapter 9 packs valuable lessons about making wise decisions by seeking God's counsel and the importance of maintaining integrity when the circumstances influence you to compromise your character.
