How simple is it to overcome sin?  Decide to!  Say no.  That’s all.  Make a personal decision that you are going to believe Jesus has overcome sin in your life and refuse to obey sins’ evil desires…

Offer yourself to God and not to sin.

This psalm is Messianic, meaning it is prophetic of some part of Jesus' ministry, having been written hundreds of years before Christ. This is one of the Jewish orphan psalms but this one, we know for sure, was written by David.

Sin, in the life of a believer, is dead.  Gone.  Over.  Sin dying is not something that is done gradually or slowly.  Beginning today, sin never again needs to make another wicked contribution to our lives.  Sin, praise the Lord, has been defeated completely.
