As Jesus continues to prepare his disciples for what's ahead, he now focuses their attention on eternity. He begins with a story of two individuals, a rich man and a poor man named Lazarus. This is the only place where the Lord lifts the veil between this side of life and the next. Pastor Wes Bentley, a former Marine, first traveled to Africa in 1996 and later in 1998. Following much prayer, he formed what is today known as Far Reaching Ministries. In this chapter, we read that the tax collectors and sinners are all drawing near to Jesus while we see that the Pharisees are muttering about Jesus eating with and welcoming sinners.
