Complacency begets more complacency, and compromise. If the devil can't make you bad, he'll make you "busy" so that you lose track of your spiritual purposes of keeping fully devoted to God. 1) Why settle for less? Because it's easier to live with our past results that to seek out new ones for the Lord. 2) Danger in settling - when we settle we set ourselves up to fall away AND take other with us! 3) DON'T SETTLE - CLING to the promises of God. He promises new life, so we need to be open to change.
