In an out of breath world, Jesus-Apprentices should be a welcome breath of fresh air.

Because Jesus was a breath of fresh air for the world, those of us who are apprenticed to him will learn to live like he did. We are called to be a breath of fresh air to those around us who are struggling to breathe deeply.

It's the presence of God that brings us rest. To make room to breathe, we need to make room for God. When we make room for God, we will find rest for our souls in an out-of-breath world.

Eugene Peterson called prayer the second word. Prayer is a response to God's Words spoken to us. Without the Word, prayer is a one-sided conversation. The rhythm of life calls us to breathe in God's Word and breathe out prayer.

Who is the Holy Spirit and why do we need him in every area of our life to fulfill the mission he has given the church?

We need the breath of God for life and power. If we want to breathe deeply of God's Spirit we need to saturate in scripture, surrender our agenda, and seek more to do more

If we have the faith to live with open hands, people will see Jesus in us and Jesus will give weary people hope through us.
