It is the kickoff to our 21 days of prayer and fasting and Pastor Doug will be sharing a message for this coming year entitled Darker Nights and Brighter Days. The Gospel of Matthew chapter 2 presents a central claim of Jesus' identity and mission. Namely, that Jesus is the Davidic King, the Messiah who will save Israel and therefore the world. Herod and Magi have significant different reactions to this explosive challenge. The question is how will you respond?

Our emotions shape the perspective we have of our circumstances, the world, and the plans we have for our lives. God gave us our emotions, but He wants us to manage them, and be used to deepen our walk with Him.
