John Baptised with Water, But Jesus Christ with the Holy Ghost- Although used in different senses in the NT, Mark points to salvation itself. Jesus says we MUST be born again of the Spirit, and Paul writes to Titus, -... according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost-

Jesus, the Lord of Glory, had no need of baptism unto repentance, nor yet the the Holy Ghost baptism of regeneration, and yet He insisted on Baptism. Why-

When Moses came down from the mount with the -ministration of Death- in his hands his face shone and all were afraid. But Christ brings a more glorious ministration that outshines that of Moses, If we dwell in the presence of Christ, we too will shine, though that blessing be held in earthen vessels.

Shoes, man made support, protection and comfort. But we need to put these off, that we may be shod with God's alternative.-Exodus 3-5- Deuteronomy 33-25- Ephesians 6-15.

When God sets His love upon us, Paul says that there is nothing that can separate us from it.

Renamed from -Message in the Wilderness-.----John the Baptist preached a message of repentance, He exhorted the people to have a change of heart, or mind. To reject their sinful lifestyles and be ready for the coming Christ who could actually transform them and make them -New Creatures- With the Holy Ghost Baptism of Regeneration.

Mark begins his punchy account of Christ's ministry with a declaration of the Lord's deity, quickly to be followed by the demonstration of His vanguard.
