There are many reasons why we may be faint in our spiritual walk, some legitimate, some, not so much, nevertheless let us not be defeated. As Paul says, -in due time we shall reap if we faint not.-

Following the parable of the sower, Jesus Crosses the sea of Galilee to sow a seed in the form of a delivered Demoniac.

Don't rely on the cistern of past or second hand experience, go to the fountain head and drink deeply of Christ.

Spiritual slothfulness brings spiritual barrenness, just as physical sloth brings poverty. Don't let your life get overgrown, it is harder to weed it than to keep it.
