In today's passage we look at the woman caught in adultery and how the religious leaders tried once gain to trick Jesus. It brings the old testament face to face with the grace of Jesus Christ.Although God is willing to forgive us, it is only when we repent that we can be truly forgiven. Jesus wants to set us free, so repent, then go and sin no more.

As Peter continues to warn against false teachers within the church, he moves now to expose their hearts. Peter makes clear that the reason their words are twisted is because their heart is twisted. As their character is revealed we see even more clearly why following their teaching is so dangerous and so unlike the heart of the Good Shepherd.
