As the Bible's account of the day sin entered our world continues, we move from the cause of this great fall to the consequences. You could call it the "fall-out of the Fall." But as sad and as tragic as this day was, we find that our world was not left without hope as God had a great plan in store.

We began last week looking at the difference of being a child of slavery to sin, or a child of freedom in Christ. We discussed how all of us are in one camp or the other. If we have given our life to Jesus and have been born again, we are a “child of freedom.” But, if we have not given our life to Jesus and have been born again, we remain a “child of slavery” to sin, because we have not been set free.

Why is our world in such a mess? Why is there hatred and division and sickness all around when God made the world so good? Here in Genesis 3, we find the answer to this question as we see humanity's fall from perfection.
