The spiritual privilege we have in Christ is a treasure that is unmatched. In returning to the Jewish law, the Galatians were laying aside these riches and returning to elementary things. Paul's heart is that we as believers would prize our privilege and realize what we have in Jesus can not be added to.

It can't be denied that marriage is a difficult reality. But the good news is that God hasn't left us to figure it out on our own. Through the apostle Peter, God gives us a proper understanding of the right attitudes and actions that husbands and wives are to build into their lives in order to have a marriage that reflects the greater relationship Jesus wants with His church.

The issue for the Judaizers in Paul's day was not that they were valuing the law too highly, the issue was that they were valuing it for the wrong reasons. After making clear what the Law of Moses is not valuable for, Paul turns to make clear what it's true value really is. It's understanding this value that makes the promise God gave in Jesus such a blessing.

Jesus only reveals himself to those that know Him and love Him. And like Mary, if we rise early to seek Him, He will reveal Himself in a special way.
