In the midst of misery and defeat, we find hope in the victory provided by God through a Shepherd-King and in fulfilment of a covenant of grace.

God is not absent in adversity and opposition. He is creating the opportunity for us to patiently wait for rescue.

The Lord cares so deeply for his people that he calls them to account for their sin before the court of perfect justice.

A promised King will come from the most unlikely of places to establish lasting peace through a fierce opposition to all that harms us.

Despite the rebellion of God’s people and the resistance of God’s enemies, the Lord is bringing a day when peace will prevail and people from all nations will enjoy his loving rule.

God holds those in positions of authority responsible for injustice.
