Life’s profound disappointments tempt us to despair, but the resurrection of Jesus brings hope. We see that hope in a group of women who go to the tomb of Jesus and return with the greatest news ever.

The crucifixion of Jesus was not a tragic accident or mistake. It was the climax of a long-planned rescue that points to the justice and mercy of God.

The innocent Jesus is condemned in place of the guilty. Our "Passover Pardon" is secured with his blood.

When we accept the claims of Jesus, his identity becomes the basis for ours, and prevents us from treating him as an amusing curiosity. 

Will you align yourself with Jesus? Some will attack him and others run from him. But you can not avoid his gaze. (Nor do you want to.)
